The Bach Cemetery, Breathitt County, Kentucky

The Bach Cemetery is near Jackson, Kentucky, in the hills east of there. The area is called Quicksand.

The entrance is on the left side of the road as you are driving away from Jackson.
After you enter the home area, keep to the left (see the yellow pedestrian sign in the left edge of the picture).

The roadway is primitive, but passible. Here you see the beauty of the fall leaves along the way up. Note that the turning area at the cemetery is limited, so you may not wish to take extra long vehicles or trailers up this road.

A view of part of the cemetery. There more behind, but the ones with the Bach or Back name are found in this section.

We have lost our dear father
He has bid is all adieu
He has gone to live in heaven
